No, a credit or debit card is not compulsory required to create a shop especially if you are creating a free account. To be verified as a seller (PAID MEMBERSHIP) you have the choice to use either a debit master/visa card or to pay with bitcoin.

African Outfiters Pays directly to your bank account for now, When adding bank account, ignore the IBAN and SWIFT CODE section, just put in your Bank Name, your account/beneficiary name and Bank account number. We will be adding more payment method soon.

it’s easy to set up a shop on African Outfiters. Create an African Outfiters account (if you don’t already have one), set your shop location and currency, choose a shop name, create a listing, set a payment method (how you want to be paid), and finally set a billing method (i.e. how you want to pay your African Outfiters fees).

Joining and starting a shop on African Outfiters is free. There are three Package for vendors: Intermediate, Advanced, and Elite. It Free to publish a listing to the marketplace. A listing lasts for four months or until the item is sold. Once an item sells, there is a percentage transaction fee on the sale price (not including shipping costs). If you accept payments with debit card, credit card, Bitcoin, there is also a payment small processing fee based on their fee structure.
